This is a photo documentary made during the working a repair café.

 

A repair café is a community based initiative of people with technical skills that organise monthly repair moments where they try to repair things in order to save it from throwing away.

 

Next time when your beloved item is broken, you might better visit a repair café before trowing it away.

 

With my special thanks to the repair café of Runkst and Hasselt-Centre (Both in the city of Hasselt, Belgium) for their warm welcoming and cooperation to this project.

This is a sincere group of volunteers who dedicate their skills to the community and to the environment.

 

To all volunteers in a repair café: continue adding your value to your community and to the planet Earth. You all have my sincere congratulations !
